1. cut your pie crust into 10 to 11 slices
3. take another strip and lie it across perpendicular from the first strip
5. weave strips in and out so that there is an alternating pattern of top and bottom
2. begin to line the top of your pie with 1 of the pie crust strips
4. alternate applying strips one on top of each other.
6. continue to weave the strips throughout the pie as you lay new strips
